Originally from the Netherlands, I moved to Norway in 2017. I've grown up with music, an upbringing with nature in focus and the freedom to build my own identity and place in this world. I became interested in witchcraft when I was 11 and have build and evolved my practice over the years, considering myself more of an animist now than when I started.

I believe in the sacredness of everything, but I will call it out if I smell injustice and shitty behavior. To be fair, I do thrive better in the company of plants and animals and you'll find me in my garden, often, every day, if possible.

I began playing the harp when I turned 25, played keyboard before that as well as whistles. Tried my luck on the fiolin, but since I also sing, the harp is usually my company with gigs and submissions. I'm most at peace playing Norwegian and Irish folk music.

I became a mother for the first time in my early 20's, second time when I turned 30 and am quite often filled with an anxiety about the world I put my kids in. So I focus on what I can do in this world, in these systems and try to be and teach about self-sovereignty and self-sufficiency.

I am an interactive designer and hairstylist for which I both have a degree. I consider myself a life long musician, independent by nature and I follow the shifts of the seasons as well as that of the moon.

In 2024 I experienced a severe burnout. Coming to Norway had me motivated to work hard, learn hard and do the best I could, facing here also, the limitation of the general work force. I tried combining music, work and motherhood all together, but only met walls. Trying to constantly fit in as an outsider I ended up feeling completely betrayed and exhausted.

From there, the path back to myself began. In 2025 I opened Siren Enchantments, embracing all my talents and skills together. Until this day, that path continues with people tagging along and my own life unfolding before me with every step, every creative outburst, every new realization and humbling moments.

I live in Tangen in Norway near the water, surrounded by old woods and mountains, together with my fantastic husband, our kids, our cats. We're happy, we're at peace and it's quiet here.
