What is Women's Eve?

Women's Eve is a local gathering of women every month during the New Moon where different topics are discussed and activities are organized. It can be an evening where we can read our favorite books undisturbed, it can be an evening where we try different meditation techniques, do some yoga, discuss politics or exchange family recipes.

This evening is meant to be free of any mental workload that day to day life gives us and gives an opportunity to connect with fellow women on different topics from all walks of life. Welcome from age 13 - 99+.

What is Vintersolverv?

The winter can be a tough season to deal with up here in the North. During the Wintersolstice we celebrate the return of the light, the days will grow longer from there on. 

We tell the stories of the Holly King (representing the dark parts of the year) and the the Oak King (representing the light returning) from the Celtic legends and observe the cycle of nature. We burn a Yule log and focus on the time between time where most of the year has passed but not yet ended.

A beautiful opportunity for celebration as well as introspection.
