Sojourn of Sirens

Ancient Forests, Silent Mountains

Walk the Land, Find Connection

We live in a world that is loud, fast, and increasingly disconnected from the ground beneath our feet. The Sojourn of Stone is a return to the "old, old, old." It is an invitation to leave the digital noise behind and reconnect with the rugged, unpolished reality of the Norwegian landscape—and the granite core of your own resilience.

Sojourn of Stone

May 20 - 27, 2027 | Innlandet, Norway

We live in a world that is loud, fast, and increasingly disconnected from the ground beneath our feet. The Sojourn of Stone is a return to the "old, old, old." It is an invitation to leave the digital noise behind and reconnect with the rugged, unpolished reality of the Norwegian landscape—and the granite core of your own resilience.

The Experience: Beyond the Postcard

This is not a sightseeing tour of the fjords. We go where the earth is heavy and the history is etched in the rock. We will trek through misty tops, sit in forests that have seen centuries of silence, and use the physical challenge of the terrain to break through our own mental stagnation.

This is an Active Sojourn. We use movement as a tool for high-intensity self-work. There are no "vibe checks" here—only the honest friction of your boots on the trail and the clarity that comes from being truly, physically present.

What is Included:

  • 6 Nights of Hand-Picked Lodging: We stay in there where we can honor the land.

  • All In-Norway Transportation: Local transport from our meeting point to the ancient sites.

  • Guided Excavation: Lene’s dedicated facilitation, including mountain rituals, animistic practices, and deep-dive discussions. Also hired external guides are included in this Sojourn and are not an extra expense.

  • Mountain-Hearty Meals: Hearty, communal food to fuel our days on the trail. Locally sourced as much as possible.

  • Entry to Sacred/Old Sites: Access to specific ancient forests, heritage sites, or protected lands.

  • Pre-Trip Grounding: Information and exercises to start your "internal trek" before we meet.

What is Not Included:

  • Travel to Meeting Point: Your journey to our starting location in Innlandet: Hamar.

  • Mandatory Travel Insurance: Essential for mountain weather and personal security.

  • High-Level Gear: You’ll need your own sturdy boots and weather-appropriate clothing (we provide a specific kit list).

  • Personal Expenses: Souvenirs or additional snacks/dietary requirements.

  • The Final Meal: Our celebratory closing dinner is self funded.

Pricing & Accessibility for the Community

Consistent with my mission in Innlandet, this Sojourn is priced to be sustainable for both the facilitator and the participant.

  • The Mandatory Non-Refundable Deposit: 2,000 NOK to secure your spot.

  • Balance Due: April 20th 2027

  • Total Investment: 14000 NOK (Includes the Deposit)

Why the "Sojourn of Stone" Matters:

In a culture obsessed with "fixing" ourselves, the mountain offers a different perspective: you don't need to be fixed; you need to be found. By stripping away the fluff of modern spirituality and standing on the bedrock of the world, we find the parts of us that cannot be broken.

Who this Sojourn is for:

  • The Seekers who wish to experience a unique, niche journey with animistic guidance. This is not just a vacation; it’s a transformative excavation and a sojourn you make for your deepest self.

  • The Brave who feel there are deeper layers to unravel and are finally ready to face their own shadows in the light of the ancient world.

  • The Truth-Tellers who wish to break free from the shackles that hold them back—those ready to release stored rage, shame, grief, and pain within the safety of a grounded, conscious group.

  • The Longing who yearn for a deeper, more authentic connection with other humans, moving past the surface-level noise of modern life.

  • The Earth-Bound who crave a visceral, physical connection to the soil and the old, old stories of the land.

  • The Overburdened who need time away from every external demand to finally focus on their own internal landscape.

  • The Rooted who recognize the vital need for ritual, practice, and a community of peers who are equally committed to the work.

Sojourn of Stone

May 20 - 27, 2027 | Innlandet, Norway

The Framework for the Sojourn of Stone Sojourn.

  • Day 1 - 2 Landing and Roots On day 1 we will leave from Hamar by car up to the mountains. Here we will land, get to know each other and set intentions for the journey. This is also our base for the week. For day 2 there will be a local walk to land into the environment, do a couple of meditations and prepare for the coming days.

  • Day 3 Stone & Carvings

  • Day 4 Bones of the Mountain

  • Day 5 Forest Silence A day of silence in the moss covered forests. Deep contact with soil, roots and fresh air. Connecting with our own internal structures. Making time to listen to what our bodies and hearts are telling us.

  • Day 6-7 The Integration and Goodbyes We use day 6 to relax, journal, meditate, some forestbathing and prepare for our journey home. We celebrate this time together with a shared meal. Depending on when everyone is traveling back home we use the early morning of the 7th day to visit the ruins of Domkirkeodden at Hamar. A transition from nature to human history. We close down the week and say our goodbyes.

This is an active Sojourn with a lot of walking, hiking and exploring.

What should you bring:

Clothing:

  • Base Layer: Woolen underwear (top and bottom). Wool breathes and stays warm even if damp.
  • Mid Layer: A thick wool sweater or fleece
  • Outer Layer: Wind- and waterproof jacket and trousers (shell clothing)
  • Head/Hands: Hat and gloves as mountain winds can be unforgiving.
  • Footwear: Sturdy, waterproof hiking boots with good ankle support

For the Mind & Soul:

  • Sitting Pad: A small insulated pad (reinsdyr skin or foam) for sitting on cold stones/moss during meditation
  • Journal & Pen: To capture reflections during your Sojourn
  • A Personal Object: something you wish to carry with you during your stay

Practical Gear:

  • Daypack: 20-30 liters for daily excursions
  • Water Bottle: At least 1 liter
  • Thermos: For hot drinks during longer phases and excursions
  • Sun Protection: Sunglasses and sunscreen, if there's mountain snow the reflection and sun's power is surprisingly strong.
