An emerald world so aglow it was almost the same golden light of Autumn yet of the purest green. Valleys and hills, rivers and ponds, wells and charms, nooks and ruins. I've just returned from visiting the most wonderous and magical places in Ireland, where we stood amongst history, once impossible for mere people to wander into. Walls that were magnicifcent and enclosed once, reduced to ruins where it's structure and greatness of the past could only be imagined. To top off this journey with a most magical celebration has had an impact that has not entirely landed and absolutely requires a bit more time. But there will be a small update anyway.

When I traveled to Ireland for the first time in 2016 I already knew that I wanted to return. It took another 10 years, a move to Norway, becoming a mama once more and marrying my now husband as well as rediscovering purposes and callings. The return couldn't come at a better time as the call to travel back was so strong I decided to buy tickets for me and my family when the chance appeared. Off we went at the end of April and with no idea of the treasures we'd be finding along the way.

We stayed largely in county Meath, which means we had the opportunity to visit the mounds of Knowth, Newgrange as well as Loughcrew Cairns. We visited the ruins on Hill of Slane, of Mellifont and Bective Abbey and Trim Castle. Wandering the gardens of Loughcrew Estate, Ardgillan and Dún na Sí. We've experienced so much history, magic, folklore and had so many wonderful encounters with fellow interested tourists, guides as well as our own sense of direction to just go where we felt like going. It was such a whirlwind of inspiration for my work, my practice and my heart that I still cannot entirely put into words how wonderful the timing was that we would go.

The last couple of weeks have been a tremendous change for Siren and also for me personally. On how I wish to continue my work in this world and in my lifetime and wish to continue following my gut when it comes to my passions, services and celebrations/ceremonies. How the world and it's tidings sometimes change and adjust for us wether we like it or not. That our comfort zone is a cage sometimes and the land continues to speak to us in subtle whispers and nudges. I could feel that a lot in Ireland and I now recognise it being back here at home.

And then.. yesterday. What can I say. My heart is filled to the brim with gratitude and joy and most of all a deep sense of belonging. To celebrate the seasons and being able to offer these celebrations, forest sessions, ceremony and a home full of laughter, food and friendship. To have all ages attend and part of the entire feast, where people feel comfortable to let their guard down, retreat and reflect, (re)discover, share, create. It is an absolute honour to facilitate these happenings and I am immensely grateful for the trust people put into these celebrations as many come back again and again.

Slowly the wheel begins to turn and in 6 weeks we'll celebrate the Summer Solstice. Preparations have already begun to organise and prepare, but I want to just rest in this Bealtaine wave a little longer for now. It has just been the Full Moon too and my lessons for this month are ready to come to the surface.

Reflections and premonitions for May

The May month, for me, is about love. Love for what we do, love for what we establish, build and (co)create. Combining dreams and visions to materialize in this world. Healing. To see life from a broader perspective, clarity and objectivity. To embrace adventure with an honest and open intention. Having the tools to change and cleanse. Seeing situations as they really are. There is inspiration and fire for renewal and projects that move, things begin to shift.

I wish you a wonderful May-month, where you may find peace, center and grounding.

With love,
Lene
