2026 has been a strange, beautiful, and deeply humbling year.

If there is one thing this year has taught me, it is that control is often just a well-justified illusion. Where I thought I held all the answers, I was met with questions. Where I believed I was facing insurmountable obstacles, hidden blessings have quietly revealed themselves in hindsight.

It has been a year of bringing things back home. Things I assumed were lost forever have shown themselves to merely be dormant, waiting for the space around them to become safe enough again.

Recently, I found myself in a moment where an old ember suddenly flared into full flame. The music, the harp, the joy of touching people with unexpected, authentic tones—it all swept over me at once. The fire burned so brightly that my mind immediately did what it always does: try to force a plan. What do I do now? Which path should this take? How do I weave this into everything else?

But instead of chasing the spark with full force, I paused.

I discovered that not every spark requires all of my energy and immediate attention. Sometimes, the greatest thing we can do for a fire is simply not to smother it with expectations, plans, and haste.

We live in a world that demands immediate answers, swift progress, and crystal-clear structures. But nature does not operate that way. Processes need time to land. They must be allowed to hang in the air for a while, drift into the mist, vanish from sight—and then return when the time is right.

Enduring the unknown, standing in that magic limbo where nothing is yet decided, is perhaps the truest form of self-trust we can hold.

As we move toward darker evenings and the quiet energy of autumn, I choose to soften my shoulders. The fire is lit within, and it rests safely there. It does not need to be proven, streamlined, or pitched to anyone at all. It simply gets to be.

Thank you for following my journey here in the Sanctuary and Siren Enchantments—both through everything that grows into the daylight, and all that is allowed to ripen in the quiet.
